2011 Poland

We had two men go to Poland this year. They are Chad Kritenbrink and Josh McIntyre. They left for Poland on Friday, July 15, 2011 and will return on Saturday, July 30, 2011. While in Poland they will work with a Gospel Joy Workshop, helping to spread God's Word through songs and Biblical messages contained in them. The Gospel Joy Workshops are an awesome chance to use the love of Black Gospel Music to minister to the Polish people. They will also work with the Bread of Life which runs a soup kitchen, clothing closet and New Life Center for homeless men. The New Life Center is a live-in rehabilitation facility designed to help homeless men reintegrate into society. They are taught everything from normal life skills and hygiene to job skills that help them secure jobs and become a productive part of society.

Please pray for these men as they minister in Poland. We will update any news we get from them via email.

Dear Friends & Family,

I just wanted to share with you what an amazing night we had at Gospel Joy Camp (Music/Choir Worshop). The Holy Spirit was working for the last few days and tonight at least two dozen people who accepted Christ as their Savior. Let me give you a little background and share with you Daria's story. On Monday, the first day of the Gospel Joy Camp, the Holy Spirit was really evident in the evening worship service (not the norm). Last night was a little more typical. Tonight Daria shared her testimony. Daria is a parapalegic and has had a rough life. She was very angry and had no peace or reason to rejoice. Six months ago during a Gospel Joy workshop she accepted Jesus Christ as her Savior. Her chains and shackels were broken. For the first time in her life she was free and could rejoice. WOW!!! Isn't God great? The story doesn't end there though. Over the last few months she has been growing, but still didn't feel comfortable praying publically. During our leaders meeting earlier she prayed. At the time I didn't realize the significance of it. Tonight she shared her testimony and her love of music and singing. She shared how she was free and the impact Jesus & Gospel Joy has had on her life. After sharing her testimony she performed a solo that was absolutley beautiful. Her story was an absolute blessing to me. The worship service continued and you could feel the Holy Spirit working. The gospel was shared and there was an oppurtunity to respond. Somewhere between 25 and 30 people came forward, wanting to come to a relationship with Christ (Again, definitely not the norm). To God be the Glory!!!! It was just an amazing evening over here in Poland and I couldn't wait to share what an incredible God we serve.

Please find attached a couple pictures of Daria

God Bless,

Chad

After an amazing week at the Gospel Music Camp we closed our week out by attending the concert finale. An amazing time was had by all. To reiterate, through the week we had two incredible worship services, with around 25 coming to Christ. We are now in Kalisz with Tomek. Today Chad was interviewed by a local journalist who had done pieces on Bread of Life in Kalisz. Tomorrow he will preach in the Sunday morning service, and then tomorrow afternoon he will give a question and answer time on the Biblical perspective towards war. Things are going great so far, and we will keep in touch as we move about Poland. Josh
